Invicta Mill

This is a snapshot of the Invicta Mill (147°06'19"E 19°30'55"S) at Giru - South of Townsville. The Invicta Mill was originally located in the Kolan River district near Bundaberg, but it was dismantled and moved to Giru in 1919. It is owned by the Haughton Sugar Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of CSR Ltd. Invicta Mill commenced crushing in 1921.
